2014 Chevrolet Malibu

New for 2014

The base 2.5-liter four-cylinder engine adds fuel-saving stop-start technology that shuts the engine off when the car is stationary, like at a stoplight, and restarts it when the driver lifts off the brake pedal. The available turbocharged 2.0-liter four-cylinder now makes 295 pounds-feet of torque, up from 260 pounds-feet of torque last year.

Other changes include new front styling that incorporates a larger grille, redesigned front and rear seats that yield an additional 1.25 inches of rear legroom, and suspension revisions for a more refined driving experience. A blind spot warning system and rear cross-traffic alert are newly available safety features.
